Competition

Beginners welcome. Competitors trained here.

You can start boxing at Blue Boy without a fight in mind. The same gym is a USA Boxing club that still puts boxers in amateur competition.

USA Boxing and Golden Gloves

Blue Boy Boxing Club is a USA Boxing club in Thomaston that still sends boxers to Golden Gloves competition.

On February 25, 2026, Julian Smith was listed for Blue Boy Boxing at the Western New England Golden Gloves in Lowell. That listing is the public record we use. We do not publish fight records here.

Sparring slots on an older printed schedule were crossed out, so sparring is not listed as a current class. Ask the coaches how competitive training is scheduled now.
